There will be times when you need to generate large blocks of randomised data for development work. In payroll system development, for example, you don’t want to expose people’s real data.
This has often been a pain in the backside to generate, but I recently stumbled upon a very useful site for doing so:
If you find it useful I’d encourage turning off your ad blocker. Their ads aren’t all that intrusive and my own belief is that if someone produces something useful, they should certainly receive SOME payment for it. (Also they asked nicely rather than shoving a banner which can’t be closed in your face like some sites do.)
As an aside… even if nobody sees them I really should do posts more often.
